Officer Reports:

President’s Report

·          Order of Elections

§  Please review when class officers are allowed to campaign.  Candidates still have to earn half of the eligible votes in their respective classes. 

§  Thank you to the candidates who gave speeches today

·          If you didn’t submit your application and speech, you can be eligible to run in the fall for any vacant positions

 

Vice President’s Report

·          Keep in mind if you need to schedule an interview with Ms. Pochet for Lionshare.  Being in Lionshare is a requirement for SGA and class officers.  She still wants to touch base, so everyone is aware of the responsibilities. 

 

Secretary’s Report

·          Remember – one copy of minutes per class

·          Voting will take place on Wednesday May 19th during morning break rather than after all school meeting.  Officers need to coordinate with sponsors on creating ballots and tallying votes.  Please report winners to Ms. Walker

 

Treasurer’s Report

·          Thank you to everyone who has worked the table during lunch this week. 

·          Penny-Wars – the winner is……8th grade.  Free out-of-dress code on review day before exams 

§  Money earned - $160!

·          T-Shirts – will be here next week.  Possibly distribute at the all school meeting.  Thanks to everyone who purchased one!

·          We have contacted the obstacle course company for price quotes. 

·          For the ice cream truck, we need to decide what kind we want.  Need to vote.

 

Advisor’s Report

·          See me if you have questions about the elections. 

·          Congrats to our new officers.  Please touch base with the outgoing officers for advice, etc….  They will be on and off campus for exams but will be here for field day.

·          Field Day Games – please start working on your assignments.  Formal sign-up will take place at the next meeting.    

·          Senior v. Faculty game - volleyball

Social Committee’s Report

·          Fun-in-the-Quad – kickball, dodgeball, and hula hoop

·          Hall Decorating Contest –It would be Wednesday May 26th 3:45-5pm

 

Community Service Committee’s Report

·          Department Appreciation – There is a lot of folding to be done for various end-of-the-year events.  If you are able to help fold programs as well as the copies of Laceworks that would be great.  Stop by and ask either Mrs. Cunningham or Mr. Kolade if you would like to help!  Thank you to everyone who has so far.
