Queen Anne Party Pledge

Mindful of its shared responsibility for the welfare of Queen Anne
students within the context of the total school community, the Parents'
Association proposes the following guidelines which are strongly suggested
for parents/guardians when giving parties for Queen Anne students off
campus.

• No alcohol or drugs will be allowed at the party.
• No one will be admitted to the party who has alcohol with them
  Those who appear, in our judgment, to be under the influence of alcohol will
  be required to remain in our home until a safe ride home is available.
• We will be there to supervise the party.
• We agree to having our names printed in Queen Anne publications along with other parents who have signed this pledge.

**Please be advised that the Maryland General Assembly passed a bill which prohibits an adult from
allowing an individual under 21 years of age to possess or consume alcoholic beverages in the residence in
which the adult resides unless the individuals are members of the same immediate family or the consumption
is for religious purposes. This Bill was signed into law on May 14, 1996. (Art. 27, Section 401A)
